Robin Ventura Costs the White Sox a Game

Inning 6 : Robin elects to have Alexei Ramirez bunt Alejandro De Aza over to 3rd after a lead off double. Strikeout candidate Adam Dunn pops out, Konerko lines out. Inning over, no runs.

Inning 7: Fukudome triples and scores Rios with 1 out. Robin elects to suicide squeeze with Brent Morel. The squeeze is botched, Fukudome out in a run-down. Inning ends after Morel, predictably, goes down silently.

Inning 8 : Robin elects to have De Aza bunt Eduardo Escobar to 2nd after his leadoff walk. A wild pitch puts Escobar on 2nd. Ryan Cook is clearly having trouble locating his pitches. De Aza continues to try to bunt him over to 3rd. He gets beaned by a pitch but can’t pull the bat back. He strikes out, Ramirez and Dunn are retired in order.

That is a lot of runs taken off the board by the guy who is supposed to be putting them on.

Let me be straight forward.

Robin, read a book. You suck.

EDIT: Inning 10, Robin elects to bunt again, right into a force out at 2nd. This sucks

UPDATE: That was the most poorly played White Sox game I’ve ever had to sit through in my entire life, or at least in recent memory.
